Our Client is a well established, profitable and growing transportation company based in Southeast Maine. They manage both Asset Based and Brokerage Based services in Freight Brokerage. They are looking for an experienced broker to work from their corporate offices. They will relocate the successful candidate. The company recently moved into a new state of the art facility and has a structure in place that includes a sophisticated and effective software system, a solid core of customers and carriers, and a team that excels in “moving freight” and providing excellent customer service. They are looking for an experienced broker who can bring in new business and work at the corporate offices.
The successful candidate will meet the following requirements:
-- At least 2 years of brokerage experience, with a strength in soliciting new business.
-- You must have excellent communication skills and the ability to close sales over the phone.
-- You must have exceptional organizational skills and be very detail oriented.
-- You must be a Team Player capable of adapting to policies and procedures.
-- You must be a self starter, one who is motivated to make money and be successful.
-- A hard worker willing to put in the hours it takes to meet you goals and objectives.
-- You must relocate to the corporate offices in beautiful Southeast Maine (135 miles to Boston, 20 miles to the beach) .

Job responsibilities will include:
-- Cold calling leads and tapping existing contacts to generate new customers.
-- Submit freight rates to prospective new customers.
-- Facilitate carriers for new customers and track and trace all initial loads.
-- Manage your lead pipeline to ensure steady and progressive results.
-- Make Money!!


Compensation:
Base Salary: $50-60K Based on experience
Bonus/Commission: Paid on closed business ($20-50K 1st year)
Benefits: Full Health/Dental Benefit Package plus 401K
