Our client is one of the fastest growing transportation and logistics providers in North America. They are the recognized leader in Residential/Commercial Delivery and Supply Chain management services and solutions. With a ten year track record of service excellence, they continue to experience significant growth, are well funded and profitable. With this growth comes an exceptional opportunity. They are currently in need of a National Account Sales Executive. This person will focus on large company opportunities across a broad spectrum of industries and have national responsibility.

Responsibilities include:
-- Generating sales leads by networking with existing contacts, cold-calling prospects and building relationships as part of a coordinated sales effort.
-- Create sales strategies by gathering market information, analyzing opportunities and documenting a sales methodology.
-- Respond to client prospect inquiries by preparing responses to requests for proposals (RFP’s) and requests for quotations (RFQ’s) consistent with company pricing parameters and service guidelines.
-- Lead cross-functional efforts in the creation of written proposals and pricing submissions, preparation of presentations and delivering of presentations to prospective clients.
-- You will work closely with the Director of Business development and President to negotiate & develop contract terms and identify other potential opportunities for all business services.
-- Close business on a consistent basis to meet personal and company income/quota objectives.

Requirements
In order to qualify for this role you must have a minimum of 5 years + sales experience selling transportation and logistics solutions. This is a hunter role developing new business opportunities. You will lead a national sales effort to develop new clients and close new business. You will work from a home office so experienced discipline in this setting is a must.
YOU MUST HAVE:
-- A successful and demonstrable track record selling both transactional and long sales cycle complex solutions in the transportation and logistics service sector.
-- An exceptional consultative sales approach and negotiating skills.
-- A STRONG HUNTER mentality.
-- Significant experience selling Transportation, Warehousing, Distribution, WMS/TMS platform solutions, Full Logistics Solutions or “Source to Customer” solutions.
-- Strong relationship building skills along with a current and active contact data base.
-- The ability to lead and direct internal and external experts in the development and costing of customized logistic solutions.
-- The ability to select the appropriate sales strategy and present solutions to senior executives to gain approval for solutions proposed.
-- The desire to maintain a strong knowledge of current transportation issues.
-- Develop and execute prospecting contact plans in order to develop senior level relationships with target accounts so as to understand the accounts business needs.
-- The ability to analyze relevant business data in order to design solutions for prospective customers.
-- A University-level education in business, logistics or a transportation field.
-- Excellent communication skills.
-- Excellent presentation skills and high level of PC applications proficiency. YOU MUST HAVE A HIGH AND PROVEN APTITUDE IN COMPUTER SKILLS. THIS JOB IS VERY TECH DRIVEN.
-- Be extremely organized and have the motivational desire to develop this position to its fullest potential.
-- The ability to travel as necessary to close prospective business.


Compensation:

This position pays a competitive Base Salary and has an aggressive and lucrative commission program.
There is a full benefit package and expense reimbursement program.
