By offering a technology-based, nationwide expedited services solution, will meet many customers' needs for a reliable and cost-effective Express LTL alternative. JOB DESCRIPTION: My client is a fast growing LTL carrier located in the SE part of the USA. They are seeking a pricing analyst with prior LTL experience. The job requires developing pricing strategies and responding to bid proposals while ensure pricing aligns with growth initiatives, P&D and terminal capacities. Develop pricing strategies and respond to bid proposals. Ensure pricing aligns with growth initiatives, P&D and terminal capacities. This is a Corporate Headquarters based job in the SE. JOB FUNCTIONS: -- Process and evaluate request for proposals. Calculate and develop effective pricing strategies and models for new and existing customers that meet company revenue and strategic objectives. -- Provide spot quotes to internal and external customers. Interface with customers and internal sales personnel via telephone and e-mail. -- Ensure that pricing models are compatible with system technical capabilities. Interface with billing and information technology resources to develop system solutions for pricing as needed. -- Build queries and mine data to facilitate in analysis and evaluation of accounts. -- Review accounts and evaluate effectiveness of pricing strategies. Identify opportunities to increase profit margin. -- Investigate and research billing discrepancies. Interface with internal and external customers in resolution of billing issues. -- Prepare ad hoc reports and perform special projects in support of Department goals. JOB REQUIREMENTS: -- 1-3 years pricing experience required, LTL transportation experience much preferred -- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Statistics, Mathematics or related area, or equivalent education and work experience -- Demonstrated expertise using P.C. spreadsheet, word processing and database management applications (e.g., MS Excel and Word). -- Knowledge or SQL and programming languages a plus -- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and be able to readily adapt to change -- AS400 experience a plus -- Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines with minimal supervision SALARY / BENEFITS: -- $40k - $45k Base pay depending on salary history & experience -- Full medical including family, vision, dental, life & disability insurance -- 401K -- Paid Leave and more -- Relocation assistance available to SE	$40K - $45K	Somewhere	TN
